Celebrate Youth Arts Festival

What it's about

The “Celebrate Youth Arts Festival”, presented by The Learning Tree of Arts was created to encourage and promote youth arts. During these tough economic times, when budget cuts seem to take away the arts from our children’s education, the Celebrate Youth Arts Festival evolved in an effort to embrace, encourage, inspire, showcase and celebrate some of the talented youth in our community in both the Visual & Performing Arts.

This unique one-day event is an opportunity for both public and private schools, groups, studios, and organizations to come together in one place to exhibit their work, perform their talents, bring awareness to their program, and possibly raise funds for their program.
It is a day to let them shine!

The first “Celebrate Youth Arts Festival” took place on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Redland Koi Gardens in Homestead, and has become an annual event ever since. Many local schools and groups participated in the event, including:

Dedication to the Youth and Community

The “Celebrate Youth Arts Festival” is an event that is totally dedicated to the youth of our community: youth exhibits in art, photography, and ceramics, youth performances in dance, chorus, drama, and music, youth hosts, and youth volunteers, all of whom receive community service hours for their participation.

As we continue in our plight to encourage and promote youth arts, The Learning Tree of Arts’ “Celebrate Youth Arts Festival” has become a yearly event. Over the years, many local schools and studios have participated, including:

Growth and Development of Art

As each year passes, the festival seems to grow bigger and better, showcasing the artistically talented students that we have within our schools, studios and programs, here in Miami-Dade County, and proving without a doubt as to why we need to support, encourage and promote youth arts!
